Spaztic m0nkey: Boy's Brigade

William Smith was born on 27th October 1854 at Pennyland House, Thurso, Scotland. At 15 he moved to Glasgow to work in his uncle's business. While there, he joined the volunteers and by 19 he had become a Lance Corporal in the 1st Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers.

In 1909 William Smith was knighted by King Edward VII for his service to boys.

Sir William Smith died on 10th May 1914 after being suddenly taken ill at a Boys' Brigade meeting in London. He was buried in Glasgow.

Founder's birthplace - Pennyland House in Thurso, Scotland.

William Smith had started as a a teacher in the Sabbath School which was held in the mission hall, where he found that the older boys were bored and restless.They were suspicious of teachers who told them to sit still, make less noise, and generally behave themselves - in short, they were typical teenagers!

Just to elaborate on what this Curriculum is about:

The Boys' Brigade (BB) is a Christian Youth Organisation, with
over half a million members world-wide. The BB offers a wide
range of activities including Games, Crafts, Sports, Christian
Teaching, Music and Holidays.

The BB (Boy's Brigade) 10th K.L company.. Is Not only Well known for its Staff sergeants but also for a whole load of Posers and Girls!! ^^. We 10th KL company are popular amongst the other BB company, simply because we have the Best drill Commander (MARK TAN) he's also the guy who brought Reputation to out company alongside him MARK LEong

WHen we do Drill which is Marching la. We do take it seriously; rain, shine,or lightning nothing will stop us from doing our drill.. And we Do it 24-7 if there's a competition take a look. ITs INTER DRILL SQUAD COMPETITION!!

Just to brief you through.. The purpose of the Band and DRill camp is to perfect our MArching alignment our coordination and teamwork for the drill section. As for the Band is to unite in harmony with the instruments and to make one sound all together =)

Objects

The objects of BB are:

to promote the development and extension of The Boys' Brigade to new fields and territories
to strengthen the work of The Boys' Brigade internationally and within each member country
to help its members to develop and adapt their respective programmes to the needs arising out of the conditions in which young people live and work
to develop sympathy, understanding, and cooperation among all its members.
